Taking on his first name as his stage name. Shawntez is entering the decade with a strict dedication to contemporary Hip-Hop and R&B. After spending most of his childhood as a vocalist singing Gospel, Classical and Musical ballads. "Those different genres of music are the foundation of my style today!" The Artist's acclaimed melodies, tone of voice, and rhythmic sound will give you a feeling that will be loved amongst the masses.
Writing and producing his own songs, Shawntez has worked with Great Midwest engineers and beat producers such as Rob "Saint" Callaway (Credits: Bryson Tiller, 2k Baby Sage, & Bblasian) and Rick "Rick Boom" Wiggington Jr (Credits: Anne-Marie, Alessua Cara, Bryson Tiller, Jack Harlow, & Dusty Lee. Overcoming obstacles of the music industry gets hard at times but Shawntez continues to move forward in his journey.
